A random tree - I took this shot when I went out for a walk with my parents and dog to the beach. We had a caravan on a camping in Renesse, Netherlands, and since we were like a mile from the sea, we went there about every day.
I processed the shot in Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom®, and I've uploaded it to deviantART (link) and Flickr (link).
About me
I am Robin Kanters. I am a 16-year-old Dutch photographer, webdesigner and graphics designer. I enjoy all three of those, though I favor photography, because it gives me the freedom to get out into the nature and get shooting. Before I "discovered" photography, I kept myself busy doing web design and development, which I seem to be doing rather well for a 16-year-old. Of course I went ahead and designed my own website (the one you're on right now), and I am also busy building my own Content Management System for my clients.
Besides photography, web design and graphic design, I fill in my time with school. I'm in the fourth grade of the VWO (on wikipedia), on De Nieuwste School (Dutch for "The Newest School") in Tilburg.
About my website
This website features both my photography, and design work, though it does focus more on photography. That is simply because I enjoy photography way more that the design stuff, and also because I've got more photography than design stuff to show. Feel free to click around, make sure to check out my Portfolio page and, if you're interested, the My Gear page, which lists the stuff I use (computers, camera gear, etc).
